PRINTING AND TEMPERATURE OPTIONS
Included standard with the Promega is an innovative direct-drive dual-extruder & M3D's Compound™ Hot-end (shown left), which improves print quality, speed (up to 2X), space-efficiency and ease-of-use by extruding two materials out of a single nozzle. This is the most versatile configuration and is perfect for printing with two materials requiring similar temperatures and having similar properties (like dual color, or PLA + support material). The alternate optional configuration replaces the compound hotend with Dual Independent K'Tana™ Hotend (shown right), and is best suited for printing with materials needing significantly different printing temperatures or properties. Or try both options for $125.
A high-temperature add-on option - removes all PTFE and replaces it with an ultra high-temperature sleeve which allows for day-to-day printing at 350°C and with the potential to reach 420°C which can extrude the widest range of advanced & experimental polymers available, such as PEEK, PC, PTFE, PPS and PEI. For all options, temperature is measured using a professional PT1000 platinum RTD for consistent readings between printers and across a wide temperature range.
